"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

If you didn't catch the references… the leaf is Kenshin (remember how in the episode, his ken-ki (warrior spirit) summons leaves?), and the fire is Shishio (self-explanatory I believe). The morning star is Kaoru. ^_^v

As the endless night’s darkness was consumed by ravenous stormclouds,
As the thundering and blinding lightning struck the old oak trees,
As the oak branches fell crackling to the rain-soaked ground,
